South Rainforests Mapu Lahual

We will pick you up in the city of Osorno and after an hour we will arrive at Purranque, a small town where we will find ourselves with our local guides from the Manque Mapu community, who will then accompany us to the Mapu Lahual indigenous reserve. After 3 hours of touring mountain roads in off-road vehicles we will be welcomed by the host families who will host us. Immediately after, we will enjoy a lunch prepared with local ingredients and in the afternoon we can take a tour of the community, to learn about the work of the community members. Then we will return to our accommodation for dinner and rest and an amazing sun set.

To start the day we will enjoy a rich peasant breakfast, then we will go to the Fisher town of San Pedro to embark on a boat and go to visit the sea lions colony, we will be able to witness the art of seafood diving and we will recognize different bird species as colonies of Penguins among others. We will have lunch in San Pedro and in the afternoon back in Manque Mapu we will learn the traditional cooking and have dinner.

We will get up early to begin our journey to Caleta Condor, for that we will enter through ancient paths through the rain forest until we reach our refuge located in the middle of a forest of ancient Alerces, In this place we will cook and rest, while we share the stories of the territory.

During this day we will continue walking through this impressive territory, where we will have the opportunity to observe large numbers of birds and amphibians until we reach the beautiful beach of Caleta Condor, an incredible place with its bay of turquoise waters and its white sand beach. An unbeatable place to rest, renew energy and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the surroundings

Without a doubt, Caleta Condor is a place with a lot to discover, so we will enjoy the beach this day, go kayaking along the river, and chat with the locals as well as discover the wild nature of the place.

After a rich breakfast with local products we will take a boat to Bahia Manza where a transfer will be waiting for us to take us back to Osorno where our tour ends.
